Dr Kate Holmes from the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) chaired the first PHOSP-COVID public webinar on the 17th August 2022. An introduction to the PHOSP-COVID Study was provided by Professor Chris Brightling. Dr Linzy Houchen-Wolloff described the process of how the patients and public were involved in the selection of the top ten priority research questions that would be the focus for the PHOSP-COVID researchers to answer. Dr Rachael Evans presented the study results so far and information was provided on how the participants biological samples have been used and will be used by Professor Louise Wain. The webinar came to a close with a panel discussion and information on what the next steps are for the PHOSP-COVID Consortium.
