The PHOSP-COVID study received the Excellent Example of Collaborative Working award due to its delivery of an important COVID-19 study and creating a model that was successfully shared across the UK.
The NIHR CRN East Midlands Research Awards are a celebration of ongoing research and acknowledgement of every participant, partner and colleague who is part of the collaborative research efforts taking place throughout the East Midlands region. The 2021 edition took place on Thursday 25th November 2021 was attended by the PHOSP-COVID central study team on behalf of the PHOSP-COVID Consortium.
The PHOSP-COVID study received the award for Excellent Example of Collaborative Working. This award provides an opportunity to recognise excellent examples of collaborative working across the East Midlands whether this is staff across an organisation coming together to enable successful delivery of portfolio studies or teams breaking down barriers to find ways of working across organisational boundaries or work collaboratively with different stakeholders to find innovative new ways of working to achieve demonstrable success. The PHOSP-COVID study team was praised for its delivery of an important COVID-19 study and creating a model that was successfully shared to other recruitment sites across the UK.
